SKMP has the most modernized plants for manufacturing the products. The plant covers an area of over 6.2 hectare (15.2 acre), with a building in 1.14 hectare. The Process carried out in Sri Kaliswari Metal Powders are

  • Atomization process involves use of high pressure air jets to break up a molten metal stream into very fine droplets, which then solidifies into fine particles. We are having 2 Atomizers. Its having a installed capacity of 400 Metric Tons per month.
  • Dry ball mill is a type of grinder used to grind Atomized Aluminium Powder with Coating material for use in pyrotechnics, AAC blocks and Pesticides applications. We are having 8 Dry ball mills of various sizes. Its having a installed capacity of 150 Metric Tons per month.
  • Wet ball mill is a type of grinder used to grind Atomized Aluminium Powder with White spirit and Coating material for use in Industrial Roof Coating, Anti corrosive, Heat Resistant, Hammer Tone, Aerosols etc. We are having 2 Wet ball mills. Its having a installed capacity of 35 Metric Tons per month.

Our quality consciousness begins at the level of purchase of raw materials. Our laboratory has the latest state-of-the-art instruments to measure physical and chemical characteristics of Aluminium powder. We meet all measurement parameters of quality control as per ISO standards. Based on the customer’s specifications, our ‘Statistical Process Control’ will monitor every production step, assuring powder of the highest quality. Lab apparatus are calibrated in the external laboratory with only NABL accreditation. In-house technicians analyze the products to adhere to the Quality Standard. We have modern Quality laboratory with the testing facility of

  • Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer – Atomic Absorption spectroscopy is a quantitative technique used to check trace elements present in the incoming / inprocess / finished goods by measuring the absorbed radiation.
  • We have a facility to check Aluminium powder particle size distribution by laser diffraction principle. It measures the particle size distributions by measuring the angular variation in intensity of light scattered as a laser beam passes through a dispersed particulate sample. The particle size is reported as a volume equivalent sphere diameter.
